You’ll find our fares in Hertfordshire are great value for money, whether you travel every day or just now and then. It's easy to pay, too - use cash or contactless when you get on, or buy in advance on our mobile app. 

If you're making a one-way journey, ask the driver for a single ticket. Prices vary depending how far you're going. If you're coming back the same day, our day tickets are usually best value and mean you can hop on and off as much as you like all day. Our bundle tickets are great value and don't have to be used on consecutive days - just activate them on the days you travel. Plus, there's no expiry date.

Accompanied children under 5 travel free, and anyone aged 5-10 or with a valid Hertfordshire Savercard pays half-price on singles and returns. If you're going in a group, buy a Uno network group day rover - up to 4 people can travel together all day. Valid after 9:30am on weekdays, anytime at weekends, on public holidays or in Hertfordshire school holidays.

Sometimes you'll want to use buses run by other companies too, so a multi-operator ticket is best. There are a few  options - either travel anywhere in Hertfordshire on almost any bus, or travel within a smaller town zone.

You'll need a Plusbus ticket, and we accept tickets on all our buses within each area zone.

Uno Buses accept a range of the Hertfordshire County Council “Savercard” concessionary travel scheme.
These cards are available to residents of Hertfordshire between 11 years and state pension age.

SaverCards entitles the holder to purchase tickets with a discount on the adult fare for
travel at any time on all local bus services operating within Hertfordshire (except services operated under
contract to Transport for London).

SaverCards entitle the holder to purchase tickets with a discount on the adult fare for travel at any time on all local bus services operating within Hertfordshire (except services operated under contract to Transport for London).

The discounts

15% on Intalink ticket prices with:

• Hertfordshire Adult SaverCard (age 26 to 59)

50% on Intalink ticket prices with:

• Hertfordshire SaverCard (age 11 to 19)
• Hertfordshire SaverCard Plus (age 20 to 25)
• Senior Hertfordshire SaverCard (age 60+)

Things to know

• All children between the age of 5 and 10 do not require a Hertfordshire SaverCard to get a 50% discount on adult single and return fares plus Intalink ticket prices.
• All children between the age of 11 and 15 without a valid Hertfordshire SaverCard will get a 30% discount on adult single and return fares plus Intalink ticket prices.

Luton HipHop

From 1st September 2023 Uno Buses have joined the Luton & Dunstable “HipHop” multi operator ticket scheme.
Tickets are sold on bus and are also accepted for travel with participating operators anywhere within the greater Luton and Dunstable boundary.
Tickets are not valid for travel outside of these areas.
